I have dropped the price on this to $350 shipped!! I had someone that was interested, but wasn’t able to buy at this time…

OS: WinXP Pro (with COA for Win2K)**
Price $375 shipped (NOW $350 shipped!!) to YouTubers that I already know.
**COA is for Win2K, but I used the WinXp Pro disks thinking that the COA was for XP Pro. I can include copies of the recovery disks for either WinXP or Win2K, so that you can be 100% legal.

my cousin have an exact t30 that you are selling in bits and pieces, and I have a t61 in bits and pieces. One thing bad about the t30 is that the lcd is not interchangeble with the t4x or t6x series.

Yeah, I used a thinkpad 600X for about 5 years for web development, and it’s my main axe.. I’m making a T30 the one, but I’m shifting OS’s from Windows 2000 to Ubuntu. I’ve been using Ubuntu for a year on my other machines.. It’s not bad.. I never thought I’d be able to survive on linux, but it’s going a lot better than I’ve imagined, and I haven’t had to compile much of anything.

BTW, I got a T30 on ebay for 220 dollars, a P4M 2Ghz.. I had been hearing about this memory slot problem, I guess I may got the 1 stick gig route too… Oh well.. I’m use to it.. The 760ED is probably not what I have, I have another laptop that is something like a P166, old old old.. Barely an MMX.. And it can be expanded to a max of 106MB, yiii.. But it will run Puppy Linux.. For machines that slow, applications are like: MIDI sequencer, word processor, gimp, basic net surfing.

I would actually think of getting that if I didn’t already have 2 laptops of my own. Then again I have a Dell Latitude D510 & Acer Aspire 4710. ThinkPads never were my thing. Good asking price on it. I just sold a my old G2 iMac for that much. Nice to see a new vid man.
