I backpacked Whitewater to Hummingbird Saddle and then back down the east and south fork trails this spring 2008 with a friend for 4 nights 5 days and it was beautiful!! There is even water from springs at the top of the 9,000 and 10,000FT peaks and its all water filter friendly! I’m going back next spring in 2009 for more backpacking fun!
